As Fashion Month continues, the spotlight is now on Milan. And while this really is a game of endurance for a number of industry professionals, the rest of the world is still digesting the New York and London offerings…
In continuing my recap of the NY shows, it’s hard to ignore Jason Wu’s SS17 presentation…
Although I’ve never featured him as a Major Moment (until now), none can deny that he has a consistent portfolio under his belt.
This season, a recently married Wu has significantly downsized his show (a growing trend among the NYFW shows).
In an intimate salon-style setting, Wu deviated from his usual pastels, and offered us neons, metallics and a cornucopia of florals – of course never once veering away from his refined sophistication.
Wu has envisioned Spring to be bright.
Optimism and elevation are the watch words darlings…
