Hello again kiddies,
Definitely getting your dose of NYFW today, with all these gorgeous collections.
And this offering from The Blonds is no exception.
Gold, gold and more gold; Egyptian opulence was the dish.
And that is exactly what this glitzy power-duo served.
With a clientele consisting of made-for-the-stage celebrities [the pair describes as “modern showgirls”], bold, crystal-embellished and sequined corsets and bodysuits à la Miley, Katy Perry and Britney Spears are pretty much their thing. However, this season The Blonds really attempted to push their limits and craft sculpturally eye-catching and thought out designs.
From Phillipe Blond’s all-gold-everything opening look, to each uniquely crafted corset-dress and body suit, one could all but smell the burning sands of the Egyptian desert.
And the styling? Modern, funky, excessive?…none can deny that The Blonds’ show is always one of the most over-the-top, but visually pleasing for the season.
