stars_on_parade; the 2018 grammy awards!

Hello lovelies,

So unless you’ve been under a rock for the past few days, you’d know the 60th annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

Gaga brought the drama, Kesha brought the feels…and Bruno took the awards in what was a long, performance focused, and social-justice tinged award show.

But we’re here to talk about the fashion.

And – as much as I keep reiterating this [and it is important to repeat] – fashion now is more political than ever.

Much like the Golden Globes this year, where celebs donned full black attire in support of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, the red carpet at music’s biggest night was flanked by stars with white roses showing solidarity with the campaigns.

As expected of creatives, some of the outfits were outlandish and attention-seeking – and to be honest, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here are a few of my favorite looks of the night in no particular order [although I’d have to say Hailee Steinfeld – looking crisp and modern – and Lana del Rey – serving ethereal, old-Hollywood romance – take the top spots for me.]
