*SS17; Major Moment | Delpozo
Hello darlings,
Happy Friday!
It’s not often that I feel as passionate about a brand as this….
In the past few seasons, Spanish prêt-à-couture house Delpozo, has grown in visibility (at least in my eyes) under the direction of Josep Font.
Font, who has taken over this house after its founder’s passing in 2011, has a background in architecture.
As a result, the combination of Font’s experience in [building] design, construction and knowledge of structure, with an atelier of couture resources, produces what is nothing short of walking art.
The detailing, impeccable. The craftsmanship, superb.
Yet, there is still a chic, wearability about these clothes. I guess that’s why they call it prêt-à-couture. Hmm.
This season is no different. Florals, organza bows and bubble-like shapes, Font gives you everything you could want for Spring. And those earrings??
With Delpozo gaining traction in the fashion world with such spectacular results, trust me when I say kiddies, this is a brand to watch….
I hope to see other coutouriers dabbling in the ready-to-wear scene in the near future! Can you imagine the spectacle?!
See the rest of the collection here.
Enjoy!
xx
