Spring/Summer 2017 Trend Alert | Bra Tops
Rainy day here….
And of course, rain – as refreshing as it is – does not inspire productivity!
However, trends have to be told!!
Today’s trend features the bralette – a cross between a crop top and a bra.
Interestingly enough, yesterday I was discussing with my mother how fashion has evolved – and is evolving! – with people finding new ways to dress up their not-so-new outfits.
We specifically spoke about athleisure, whereby people mix casual clothing with sportswear for a very “on-the-go/I have errands to run” type of look, and….underwear as outerwear!
Needless to say, she found the whole thing quite foreign…
But, capitalizing on that trend, many designers have featured varying iterations of the bralette in their Spring-Summer collections.
And while many – like my mother – may think that wearing a bra out in public is strange, here you have a number of diverse and interesting ways to not look like you forgot your top home.
