Hello darlings,
The first of the relatively short list of London shows is here!
Admittedly, I did not know much about this designer till this show…but that’s the beauty of the internet fashion.
What makes Anya Hindermarch exciting, is that she is a renowned luxury accessory designer. Her fun and colorful take on fashion has become imprinted in the British industry, and stickers, fun prints and fluffy fried eggs (??) have become staples of the brand.
It seems that very recently Hindermarch has entered into the world of clothing…and her wit and creativity in this arena is a welcomed treat!
In fact, I’ve been so impressed by this season’s collection that I’m practically showing you the entire thing!
Hindermarch, for such a left-brained, creative, admits to being inspired by math this season!
*scratches head*
“The power of the circle,” she said, “It’s a rather spiritual sort of shape.”
It makes sense in a way…the clean symmetry of the circle…
She shows a variety of colorful looks, featuring lots of beautiful detailing.
Her “summer neoprene” coats have gorgeous cutout shoulders and geometric accents…and of course the appearance of more swim themed clothing (very on trend.)
Even the models spiraled in and out of a circular pit – don’t know where one finds one of those.
Hindermarch seems to really be on the ball with her fashion. It’s crisp and tailored, lux, with the same novelty that has brought her success in her accessory line.
—Just in case it wasn’t clear, I really, really adore this collection. It is smart and chic. Classic looks with just enough modernity and freshness to update any wardrobe. I’d love to have any single one of these pieces. I mean, who wouldn’t?—
