These are definitely Carolina’s strongpoints and boy does she play to them!
This collection is absolutely gorgeous, drawing clear Springtime inspiration from flowers (what is more feminine and pretty?!).
Herrera stuck to what she knows, this time however, pushing the boundary in terms of graphics and fabrics. Style.com mentions her interesting use of unconventional materials, using pieces of foam, tiling them like a mosaic, to form flowers in bloom.
Overall, an utterly beautiful collection. Maybe nothing too earth-shattering, but Carolina Herrera definitely catered to her more adventurous clients, while remaining true her aesthetic.
